Well the month of March is nearing an end. for those of us in the Mid-Atlantic region this means spring is here (at least in theory). Everything I am reading says spring fashions are all about fun geometric shapes or capri's and shorts with the threading hanging down.

This pendant by @Paradedesign is a perfect example of showing off the checkerboard oval sky blue Aquamarine in an 18 karat yellow gold setting. Match it with the sky blue aqua ring set in white and yellow gold. The cut of the stones just add to their sparkle and beauty.

If the two of those pieces are not statement enough for you try something a little bolder.  One website was suggesting taking a large ribbon and using it as a necklace.  I say lets kick it up a notch.  These great Estate Pins make awesome pendants too.estatepins

The opal pin already has a hidden bale on the back.  It is easy enough to change the others to a slide or a pearl enhancer or better yet leave it as a pin.  As I have stated in some of my past blogs, fashion now a days is really what you want to make it. That's what I love about it!!!
